Sometimes as students we hit times where we are in a financial crunch. And that’s ok! There are lots of resources here on campus that can help put some money in that bank account.

Student Connect is your one stop shop for many questions, but is the best place to go for student financial concerns whether you are an undergraduate or graduate student. The great people there will help answer your questions, will help you with emergency loans and bursaries, and if they can’t help, they will refer you to the next best service to access.
Student Connect can help you with your Student Loans, obtaining an Emergency Student Loan, as well as supplementary bursaries.
International Student Emergency Loan and Bursaries Fund
If you are an International Student, you can access an International Student Emergency Loan and bursaries from the International Student Services.
Students Leaving School:
Ministry of Community and Social Services
Alberta Child Health Benefit – offers children in low-income families basic medical services such as dental, prescription drugs, optical and ambulance services, and essential diabetic supplies.
Supports for Independence – Provides a basic level of welfare to those people unable to provide for their own basic needs. It also assists with employment and helps people access other programs, services and supports to become more self-sufficient.
